Our classic FS Metallic features a strong textured polyester filament core with a metallized polyester foil wrap. Madeira offers FS Metallics in 50, 45, 40, 35, 30 and 20 weights for a high speed embroidery and decorative sewing. A strong, 3-ply, No. 15 thread is also available for use in constructive sewing and is ideally suited for seaming and decoration on jeans and leather goods.
FS No. 40 A master of make or break and a class of its own, well designed for use on the most challenging materials, from fine drapery to coarse and sturdy fabrics. The combination of a razor-thin Polyamide core and its special twist construction with pure silver produce top quality and reliable working properties. This classic smooth, supple metallic thread is perfectly suitable for sophisticated embroidery designs on elaborate base material. Needle 75 #11 is recommended for best performance.
